Shelly has over 20 years of experience in design and construction nationwide. Her love of sustainability and passion for the built environment led her to pursue LEED & Well AP Accreditation. Shelly is a Vegas native and second generation hospitality builder. She began her career in Real Estate Development learning the project lifecycle from due diligence, construction estimating, to project management, operating budgets, and disposition of property. She studied construction management at San Diego State University as well as land planning coursework through Urban Land Institute. Her work as Project Engineer for general contractors enhanced her knowledge of the scheduling and finance constraints developers face. Each experience has brought her a deeper understanding of the client’s project needs.

As operations manager Shelly ensures the safety and efficiency of Jive’s daily activities so the team can focus on delivering high quality designs to clients. Financial transparency and compliance are values she shares with Jive. Her expertise in project accounting, contracts, and document control span decades for projects such as high security and laboratory facilities, government build to suits, hospitality ground-up, and major renovations.
